The Highland Theatre, a “jewel” in Akron’s Highland Square, is a neighborhood theatre in an area of eclectic shops, bars and restaurants. Dating to 1938, the theatre seats over 600 patrons. Your movie enjoyment is enhanced by a big screen, as well as digital projection and sound. The art deco décor has been refreshed to include a dance floor, booths and tables. The Highland Theatre concession stand serves popcorn, nachos, and candy, as well as alcohol, beer and wine. Please visit with us at the “Highland” for a most unique movie experience.
